End of 2017: What I bought – The Dresses & Bottoms (Skirts & Pants) Edition

Note: Most of the reviews on a lot of what I have purchased can be found under this tag: Style Shopper because it would have been helpful for me to read these reviews online and I am trying to pass on the online shopping <3

And uhh.. this is just for November & December 2017.

This is NOT my Year End Post. That is .. coming later.

J. McLaughlin Sylvie Striped Dress

I am a SUCKER for stripes. Just a sucker. Similar striped navy dress here but in a darker blue without sleeves.

Theory Arden Leather and Black Jersey Zipped up Dress

Sort of bought this by accident. On the model picture it looked like the skirt was longer (knee length) but when I started looking at it closely, I realized it was more a mini dress.

Guess I’ll be wearing it with tights and short moto boots to de-sexify it…

Bailey44 Knotted Cutout Dress in Wine

[ 75% OFF ]

I removed the stupid midriff cutout by sewing it shut and it looks much better. You can see my DIY Extra-Large sized end result here of the dress..

M.M. Lafleur Taylor Dress in Plum

DEFINITE review of this dress coming up on : Style Shopper because I love this brand and this dress is really incredible.

Moulinette Soeurs Mulberry Road Sheath Dress

I didn’t realize it was jacquard (not my favourite fabric), and I am not sold on the beads, but I got it for quite cheap via thrift_rats on Instagram, and I’ll give it a shot when the weather warms up. i do love a dress with pockets.

Equipment Raspberry Silk Shirtdress

Did I mention I’m a sucker for pink + silk as well?

This is a great summer dress. A hat, sandals and you’re good to go.

[ RETURNED ] GRANA A-Line Linen Dress

The review of this dress coming up on : Style Shopper!!

I returned it because I didn’t love the trapeze shape on me and it was just too.. loose and shapeless which I don’t hate but it had nothing else going for it for my body.

GRANA Silk Round Neck Low Hem Dipped Dress

The review of this dress coming up on : Style Shopper!!

I kept this dress and love it. High low hem, interesting back… yes please.

Eva Franco Araca Skirt

This skirt is exactly what I hoped it would be. Gorgeously draped, beautiful cobalt watercolour print, and got it for a song off Poshmark. YES!!!! It fits perfectly as an Eva Franco in a US 4.

Skhoop Mina Midi Down Skirt [ 50% off ]

Perfect for sub-zero weather and if I ever need to go skiing and look cute in a skirt, I have this.

Iris Setlakwe High-Rise Grey Tweed Pencil Skirt

[ 75% off ]

High waisted skirts are the bomb. They make my waist look super tiny, look great with blouses tightly tucked in, and I feel like Joan from Mad Men.

I also got it for super cheap at a local independent store on sale, something like $30 down from $250, and it fit me like a dream.

Achro High-Waisted Paperbag waist Wide leg pants

[ 75% off ]

HIGH WAISTED, BELTED pants!!!?!? I had no idea I would even like them, but I tried them on in the store on Boxing Day on a whim and fell in love.

The fabric is soft like pyjamas, the pockets are great, the tie waist makes my waist look tiny, and it looks so chic and classic (I love the look with a striped Breton shirt). It’s perfect, but not amazing for winter wear because to tuck them into boots, makes them billow out like Tintin pants… but still! Love these pants.
