Classic Parisian Outfit #1: The Off-Duty Model

All of my Parisian Style & Wardrobe Posts can be found here.

The most classic of all modern French outfits is this one:

I call this outfit the “off-duty model” because it makes me think of how classic it is and how easy it is to do it on a budget!

A simple white tee, under a classic, sharp, well-fitted blazer and some cropped Audrey Hepburn-inspired cigarette pants or jeans.

Add some heels in any style you like (literally ANY STYLE).. or wear it with flats, ballet flats that are rounded, pointy-toed, lace-ups, or even tennis sneakers.

Then you can add jewellery or not.

FROM MY INSTAGRAM @SAVERSPENDER:

COMPONENT #1: TEES

Can be a solid colour like a classic white, black or navy, or a graphic print.

COMPONENT #2: STRUCTURED BLAZER

A thinner lapel with one, two or three buttons, the sky’s the limit!

I like a neutral blazer to start (black, navy, ivory, camel..), but you can add a pop of colour with a bright pink blazer over a more neutral outfit.

COMPONENT #3: CLASSIC CROPPED PANTS OR JEANS

Cigarette-style pants, white, or dark rinse jeans. That’s pretty much it.

You can go for a bright red pant if you want instead, but the rest of the outfit has to be neutral.

Only ONE colour pop allowed.

COMPONENT #4: NOW FOR THE SHOES

HEELS….

Short ankle boots, wrapped boots, higher heels, stilettos…

OR FLATS!!

Classic ballerina flats or a pointy-toed, or lace-up version is pretty.
