INCOME GOALS FOR THE NEXT MONTH

Umm… not to get fired?

Seriously, I am too tired to think about income goals. My day job stays as-is.

The real income goal is for the blog. I’d like to crack $1500 but ..UGH THIS IS SO TIME CONSUMING FOR SO LITTLE MONEY.

(I’m spoiled by my day job, really.)

THE EXPENSES = $6064.61

Not going to even lie to you, half of that was shopping, around $3000 worth, but the good news is that I’ve already returned 50% of that, so September will look good.

My goals for my expenses however, are much easier.

I am going to spend a little bit of money on repairs and fixes of things, and ramp up on the resale of items that I’ve already KonMari’d out of my closet — things that no longer fit because I’m bigger now after having had Little Bun and have finally faced the music, and other items that just no longer fit who I am.

Oh by the way — if you follow me on Instagram @saverspender (why wouldn’t you!? :-P), I have started making the Stories portion of my feed to cover what I buy, what I am returning, what I am selling, etc. It will be more fun and interactive (YES! I actually talk in these videos and Little Bun makes voice cameos too!)…

You get to see in advance shopping stuff like this 😉

Sherry of Save. Spend. Splurge.

Millionaire at 36 after getting out of $60K of student debt in 18 months, a little over a decade earlier, using TheBudgetingTool.com. Since then, I have paid my $600K home in cash (my half was $300K), my $180K casr in cash, worked 50% of my career (taking 1-2 year breaks), and quadrupled my income within 2 years of graduating, going from $65K to $260K with an average lifetime savings rate of 50%. I could retire today if I wanted, but love my work-life balance as a freelancing consultant in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). I am all about balance - between time and money, and also enjoying my money. I also post daily on Instagram @saverspender.
