You asked, and I am answering every Friday once I have enough questions!

Do you have a list of books you have for little bun? I think my kid will love most of what little bun reads π
OMG this might be my favouritest question ever because I am such a book nerd, and now a freak about kids books.
A lot of what we got was secondhand, but here is the full list in picture form – the actual list is below the photos.
Settle in. This is a long list! A VERY LONG LIST.
Baby / Picture Books: Minimal words, mostly photos
- Animal Baths – short fun read, and gets him to say the animal actions when I bathe him
- The Nice Book – I still read this to him and point out OFTEN how the Mommy Bird needs to get away from the squawking baby birds to take a break
- Panda Bear, Panda Bear What do you see? – I linked the one with the moving flaps because it is the more interesting versus the one without flaps
- Five Little Pumpkins – he loves the rhyme!
- Little Giraffe at the Beach – he still loves opening the flaps to this day
- Snoozers – he makes me sing the song at the end… this is a “long” book but it has 7 short stories/rhymes
- Busy Airport – he has ruined the flaps, and loves the carousel luggage wheel flap the best, and studies why it looks different going around (had to explain to him how carousels work)
- Hidden Hippo – Hands down, one of his and my favourites, especially searching for the hippo
- Big Red Barn – STILL a favourite of his; we talk about how to tell some animals are male or female by their horns, why bats come out at night, etc
- Corduroy – Still loves this bear, and how he traveled around the department store
- A pocket for Corduroy – And I emphasize too, the importance of not leaving your Mommy or Daddy to wander off
- The very hungry caterpillar – MAJOR fave. I think he likes the food pics…
- Good night Spot – We still read this from time to time
- Goodnight Moon – Classic. Some kids hate it, he loves it.
- Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes – Very sweet, love the feature of babies all over the world
Beginner Books: Shorter stories
- City Lullaby – personal favourite of mine, even has counting up to 10
- In Egyptian Times – a little mini history lesson – I have mentioned/pointed out how different it was for boys versus girls back then too
- Another Important Book – good also for younger children who can listen to stories; has a fake mirror at the back!
- Snappy Builder Pet Shop – about friendship, and finding your home
- Little Boy – all about little boys and what they love to do; this one is really sweet
- Mr. Fixit’s Whacky Toolbox – Funny, incompetent handyman
- Mr Frumble’s Big Flat Hat – Funny, incompetent pig
- Busiest people ever! – I love Scarry, his illustrations have so much to look at, plus talks about work ethic
- Discovering Dinos – TONS of flaps, he likes the rhymes but opening up the flaps too which keeps him busy
- Good Night World – His favourite is the end, with the Good Nights in different languages
- The Little Engine that Could – He reads it but he isn’t asking for it nightly.
- I Spy shapes in Art – He loves looking for the shapes and intros them to fine art
- Do you see a mouse – One of his favourites, searching for the mouse is so much fun
- Meow said the cow – VERY funny and dramatic, I like this one a lot too
- New Red Bike – Good book about sharing and friendship
Older Story Books: More complicated concepts/stories
- Otto: The boy who loved cars – mine is obsessed with cars but not quite as far as this little boy…
- I saw an ant on a railroad track – longer kind of tongue twister; be forewarned…
- Red Leaf, Yellow Leaf – very informative about autumn and trees
- The Hat – good lessons to be taught about being different and embracing it
- The boy with two belly buttons – funny, silly read about bellybuttons and embracing who you are
- Happiness is a warm blanket, Charlie Brown – talks about safety blankets and how people have their own ‘security blankets’
- The Cabbie who Stole New York City – Funny, but also very visually entertaining, SO MUCH to look at and explain
- Guido’s Gondola – excellent book on minimalism, finding happiness in who you are and what you do
- ish – One of my personal favourites, about not being perfect, and finding your own voice & confidence
- the dot – Again, same idea as ish, and more on confidence!
- This is how we do it – I thought he’d love this more (cuz I LOVE IT), but he may not be at that phase yet; talks about different kids around the world and their lunches, their day, families, etc
- The Cow that laid an egg – One of my favourites and his as well
- Lulu the big little chick – About growing up, he is obsessed with Lulu, wants all of her books
- Just one more swim – A great story about trying out new skills
- Usborne Flap Books – Super educational about farms, the world, earth, etc. I won’t list them all but we have the planet, cars, trains, earth, garden, etc. His ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE books were this trio set on math. I know Little Bun is a bit unusual, but he really really really loves these 3 books on math. He also goes wild for this Computers and Coding one (I learned a lot too.)
- This is New York – A pretty book, but not really his thing. He doesn’t seem excited, maybe if we WENT to New York…
- Seven Silly Eaters – Hilarious!!! Especially if your kid is a picky eater (mine isn’t most of the time), but I found it funny because it’s so true
- Finding Christmas – SUCH a good Christmas book, he absolutely loves this one
- If you give a moose a muffin – This one is good, but between the two I’d pick the mouse one below
- If you give a mouse a cookie – Super cute, and talks about cleaning, which I love
- The Lion and the Rat – Excellent Aesop fable.
- My Milk Toof – He picked these up on his own (I bought them for myself), and was obsessed with ickle and Lardee from day one, reading the stories and cartoons on his own.
- My Milk Toof II – The second book she ever made, she doesn’t do them anymore, I suppose she is done with them or is living off the royalties now?
- Noodle and Lou – Such a sweet story about friends and self esteem, he likes this one a lot
- Three Questions – A long read, but very well done, and he loves hearing the story over and over again
- Ultimate Book of Cities – Extremely dense, very informative, he loves the flaps too
I know we have a lot of books… But we really love reading, and he has lots of variety!
Still have a burning question?

Thanks so much; am the asker and my son would love these since there are quite a number of books we never read before =D Now I can’t wait for christmas break when preschool is close so I can spend all the time I want reading these for him π

Perfect π These go on rotation – he was obsessed with one, one day.. then another.. now we are on another set of books. He loves them all though, even the baby ones.
