Are there ways in which you confirm to or rebel against these uniforms?
Not really.
I don’t have a uniform of any sort, so…
When I was younger and wore that fast food uniform, I didn’t rebel against it.
I just wore what I was told to wear, tucked my hair back as per regulations under a net, and tried not to feel disgusting.
I definitely did not love it.
Even when I had a school uniform, I never rebelled. My skirts were well below my knees, not miniskirts like some other girls, and I was a lumpy sexless jellyfish.

Rebel? Me? HAHA no. Never. I wore my dang scrubs as required all the years I worked where they were required, and didn’t say a word about them other than looking for the cheapest possible options. I don’t recall ever needing to wear any other uniforms, though.
