A Month’s worth of Style: October 2016

These are all of my outfits for the month of October 2016.

It is kind of hard to see each individual outfit because I just have the base “Look” and then within the day, I add bags, shoes and accessories…

Still, it gives me a good idea of what I wore!

I use the StyleBook app and you can read my review of the app here and here are all of my Month of Style posts.

OBSESS OVER ONE ITEM

So my analysis is that I like to go through phases where I obsess over wearing the SAME item every day.

You can see from October 11th to 14th where I wore the same $20 James Perse green v-neck tee I scored at a major sale, I just change the pants a little, or the shoes, or the jacket.

I particularly liked the first outfit I came up with to go to the park to eat grapes with Baby Bun:

It remains one of my favourites..!

WEAR WHATEVER IS ON THE HOOK

Or maybe, I am lazy and just too fatigued to think of anything new, so I wear the same striped shirt hanging on in the bathroom because ……. because.

Because it was there, and it looks like this.

You can see from October 29th to the 31st, I just wore the same thing every day. I was too tired and sick to wear anything different or new.

The trench coat adds a little something extra over this casual but oh-so-comfortable outfit.

SHOP THE LOOK

MOST WORN

Obviously my sunglasses.

I only have two pairs and during the summer I only wear my cockpit style aviators, which are these Ray-Ban Cockpit sunglasses because I find aviators are too long and they hit my cheek, which causes acne.

SHOP THE LOOK

BEST VALUE

These $2 Schutz heels (originally at least $200 – $300) scored in a thrift shop, were worn ONCE.

ONCE.

I loved how they looked here, but now I know why they were donated, the elastic back on the slingback heels keep coming down.

I can still wear them and walk but, it is a little annoying.

I need to fix this problem or re-donate them.

I do love the gorgeous beige leather with the very pretty perforations in a shape of a heart on the toe.

SHOP THE LOOK

Next month, I’m going to do actual full Look outfits in the calendar to save time and make these posts better.

WHAT I FEEL I AM MISSING

I have wanted to buy a pair of high-rise, green khaki cargo skinny pants for a LONG TIME, but I can’t find what I want.

I basically want this, but high-rise:

REALLY hard to find. Like impossible. I’m almost willing to buy mid-rise just to have them but I have to bite my knuckles and NOT SETTLE.

DO YOU TRACK WHAT YOU WEAR? WHAT DO YOU NOTICE?

I use the StyleBook app and you can read my review of the app here and here are all of my Month of Style posts.
