In Life, Style, What I bought, What I read

2016 Year in Review: What I bought – The Accessories Edition

THE COUNT: 4 ITEMS (shocked?)

I didn’t add much in way of accessories because I don’t really need any more, and the items I add tend to be expensive.

Similar here, but here are all of the styles of studded belts by the brand: here, here, here just like mine but in brown and gold and here, and here.

Quite possibly my favourite belt find ever. I have a real love for studded belts but they always looked so cheap and for tweens. This one is handmade in Germany, with FLAT studs that look very cool without being too twee.

I plan on wearing it a lot this year over dresses.

Exact here, and highly recommended.

Couldn’t ask for a better, more durable panama hat in a nice tea-stained colour. I wore it to death during the summer. The medium brim is not too big, and not too small for keeping sun out of your eyes, and it’s great for the park.

Almost exact here and here.

This white version is far more delicate and more expensive, but of a higher quality straw & handmade weave than the Tilley one, and I wore it constantly with lighter outfits.

Exact here and here. They have versions that are NOT polarized and therefore cheaper, but I strongly urge you to save up and spend the money on buying a polarized pair. They will save your eyes in the long run.

I had to replace the pair that Baby Bun broke. *sob* They are amazing, and EXPENSIVE but worth it. My old pair was $35 by the way, chipped and that’s why it was deeply discounted.

I’m so much more careful with these ones. Odd huh? 🙂

This studded black belt. FINALLY. I FOUND ONE.

I must say, my Emerson Fry studded jet belt one from last year is also a really nice one, but not as soft or as malleable, it’s rougher, less delicate & glamourous.

More belts? I plan on waiting for the major sales at the end of the year to pick up more styles of the Der B. Belts. 🙂

Other than that, got all the hats & sunglasses I need. Don’t need much else.

Want to know what else I bought?

(So much.)

Stay tuned for the rest of my 2016 Year-end What I bought roundups. I am doing each category.
