In the world of Save. Spend. Splurge.

ONE.

Hilarious!!!

TWO.

How fashion people spend their tax returns.. you know… as opposed to us personal finance bloggers.

THREE.

In case anyone (aside from my mother) is wondering, Erin Burnett of of CNN wears the colour Nymphette from MAC Cosmetics in Tinted Lipglass. Personally I think it’s too glossy / shiny for myself or my mother. I’d go with the Revlon Tinted Balm in Honey, or Clinque’s Black Honey for a universal berry shade, which Revlon’s Tinted Balm also has a good dupe for in Fig Jam.

FOUR.

This kind of crap shouldn’t happen.

FIVE.

….if I was running late for work I would NOT have time to do this awesome braided hairdo. Seriously. It takes like.. 5 minutes, and every minute counts.

Still, I’d totally try this..

SIX.

Eat all the butter and meat you want in moderation (assuming it’s good meat) and while you’re at it, make these recipes and send me a care package, will ya?

Seriously.. this is what I do.

I’ve never believed in anything but the fact that eating non-processed food is good for you, and everything in moderation.

The only time I’d advocate cutting out dairy and meat is if you personally see a link between that and your own personal health; BF feels sick when he isn’t vegan whereas this does not apply to me (I feel fine either way, I don’t feel good if I am too fat though).

SEVEN.

This is what I call tickling the ivories!

EIGHT.

This is my childhood DREAM. www.bspcn.com/2014/04/30/i-bet-you-can-smell-them/

NINE.

Hey, I know the feeling –the allure of a retail store.

TEN.

At least one of these photos were timed on purpose (girl dancing with the tulip as her skirt) but they sure gave me a good giggle when I saw them.

ELEVEN.

This video is KILLER.

TWELVE.

O_o I actually do #1 of these old beauty tips.

Bathing too often dries out my skin and makes my eczema worse particularly during winter. I bathe and wash my hair every other day and I’ve stopped stripping my skin of essential oils, which has worked out very well for me!

..and you really can’t manufacture beauty, this perfect celebrity is kind of creepy.

THIRTEEN.

No capital, no capital gains.

Not to toot my own horn but with capital, your net worth can increase every month even without any significant income.

Take a look at my net worth history and keep in mind I haven’t worked since June 2012 and my net worth in April 2014 became the highest it’s ever been.

It’s a bit like a snowball rolling down a hill.

The more money you are able to save and leave saved, the more it accumulates and makes for you.

Even with all that money though I am not certain I will EVER, EVER pay $21,000 for a one-way flight no matter how comfortable it is.

FOURTEEN.

This is one of the reasons why I buy vintage.

FIFTEEN.

I love these little homes for a good cause. What a nice guy.

SIXTEEN.

Annnnd coming as a surprise to absolutely NOBODY, Asian students outperform white students at earlier grades because…

..wait for it…

…*drumroll*…

THEY TRY HARDER!!!

*facepalm*

Seriously? We needed a survey and study to determine that effort begets results? ….

SEVENTEEN.

She’d school me for sure!

EIGHTEEN.

Anyone who gave this video a thumbs down has no heart at all, just the title is cute: Teddy Bear Meets Best Friend

Love that braided do – about 15 years ago we bought a gadget on a French market, a sort of wand with a loop, to do styles like that more easily than poking through with your fingers, which musses up the other hair… I think you can buy the gadgets in supermarkets cheaply, now, at least here you can! Now to grow my hair out lol 😉
Also the crayons – swooon. Guess you got mad at friends who “disordered” your crayons, too?!!

I saw that gadget! It was years ago and on “As Seen on TV”. I wasn’t sure if it would really work though so I didn’t bother buying it.

Nah.. I didn’t let my friends use my crayons so it wasn’t an issue 😉

Thanks for the shout out! I’ve been avoiding the retail environment all together these days, helps with the temptation 😉

I checked those old beauty tips and all I can say is, seriously? The best way to wash our eyes and to achieve a sparkling eyes is to dash a soapsuds into them or even half a dozen drops of whisky? Hahaha!
